Jackson Area Garden Tour

May 17 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. the Jackson Area Garden Tour is bringing back an old tradition with a new twist! Seven gardens will all have guides. The public gardens will have activities and give always. Tickets are available now for purchase at the History Center 102 S. High St. in Jackson. They are $25 in advance and $30 on the day of the tour. Tickets must be purchased to participate. This is a self-guided, self-paced experience including public and private gardens. There will be a special exhibit, refreshments and live music at the History Center. Maps for the tour will be available for ticket holders the week of the event at the History Center and Juneberry Plant Shop in Uptown Jackson. The event is sponsored by the Legacy Preservation Enterprise, Cape Girardeau County Historical Society, and the Juneberry Plant Shop.
