Join us for a FREE PUBLIC EVENT on Saturday, March 1st from 9:30am-2:30pm.
We will have a vibrant celebration of art, community, and creativity at the Uptown Art Expo – Murals in the heart of Uptown Jackson! This year, we’re showcasing the incredible talents of local muralist Craig Thomas with a special art exhibit at the History Center. Craig, known for his bold and captivating designs, will be displaying his works in the History Center.
Bring the whole family and get hands-on in this interactive experience by adding your personal touch to our collaborative mural created by Craig Thomas' vision of Prince Truxton. It's a fun way to engage with the art, and everyone’s contribution will help bring this exciting piece to life!
As you explore Uptown Jackson, take a stroll down High Street to see the incredible murals created by local elementary schools. These youthful masterpieces are a testament to the talent of the next generation of artists, and you can even bid on your favorite mural during the event!
Whether you’re an art aficionado or just looking for a fun, creative day out with the family, the Uptown Art Expo – Murals promises an unforgettable experience. Come, be inspired, and take home a piece of Jackson’s growing arts scene!
