PSA Wappstock 2017

On Saturday August 12, we will have our annual Wappstock Music Festival. This year we have moved to the new resort “The Camp” at Lake Wappapello. It is located on the right on hwy KK just a few hundred feet from the Hwy T intersection.

Starting our event at 10am is a Car Show, with Rock,country, and blues at the Barn Stage, bring your chairs we have five great bands and some great cars to look at with food & beverages. This part of the event is free to the public. On the Barn Stage performing; Jerry Foster, Thin Blue Line, Shotgun Daddy, 3rd Gear Grind, & Swamp Whiskey with Jim Hager as Stage Mgr. The Car Show registration starts at 9am and trophies will be awarded before 3pm.

The Second act is the Pavilion Stage featuring 7 awesome bands refreshments and food will be available, We lowered our ticket prices to $10 per person at the gate. The lineup includes; Silver Fox, Black River Blues, AS IS, Cynderblok, Gipson Rose, 2 Lane Hwy, Dr. Fever & The Venus Flytrap, (with Roy Ward as Stage manager). This stage will fire up at 3pm and go to 12pm.

Why do we do Wappstock? 1st we have a lot of friends who like local music this is a reunion of sorts for those in the area. 2nd we have a great cause we help kids go to camp, all money not needed for the next event is donated to scout troops, special needs campers, and religious kids camps in our vicinity, which includes Doniphan, Ellsinore, Poplar Bluff, Puxico,etc.
