American Battlefield Park Day

Local volunteers will participate in American Battlefield Park Day at Fort D Historic Site in Cape Girardeau, MO, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Park Day is devoted to restoring and maintaining our nation’s battlefields and historic sites. This will be a clean-up day at Fort D as well as Spring Drill for the Engineers of the Turner Brigade. The stone building known as the blockhouse will be open for visitors.
