Registration period: November 8 - December 7
Learn the steps necessary to process a deer yourself. We will discuss field dressing a deer and demonstrate how to skin and process a game animal in easy steps with minimum equipment. You will learn tips on how to handle and package the meat, ensuring that when you pull it out of the freezer, it is fresh and tasty.
Students will have the option to participate in the skinning and processing the deer. This is an outdoor activity so please dress accordingly. Program may be canceled due to inclement weather.
