Past: SEMO District Fair - Day 1

The SEMO District Fair opens with a parade at 9:30 a.m. that starts at Capaha Park on Broadway, traveling west on Broadway to Kingshighway, then Maria Louise. There will be free caricature drawings by Share Faerber in the activities tent from noon to 7 p.m. The SEMO District Fair Queen rehearsal will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. in the activities tent with the pageant held from 3 to 5:30 p.m. There will be free bingo from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in the activities tent. The Auto Tire & Parts NAPA Dual Demolition Derby will be held at 6 p.m. in the grandstand. SEMO Baggers will hold a cornhole tournament for singles at 11 a.m. in the American Legion Pavilion with thd doubles event starting at 1 p.m. The 4-H poultry, rabbits and guinea pigs will be judged at 1 p.m. in the poultry tent. The senior draft horse show and mule hitch challenge will be held at 4:30 p.m. on ball field No. 7.
