Past: St. Lawrence Parish Picnic

St. Lawrence Parish in New Hamburg will hold it's picnic this weekend. The Little Mr. and Mrs. New Hamburg Contest will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 12. The competition is open to St. Lawrence Parish members or grandchildren of a St. Lawrence parishioner only. It is for boys and girls ages 3 to 5 years old. Registration starts at 6:30 p.m. The corn hole partners tournament will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday. (Bring your own partner). The blind draw corn hole tournament will be at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 13. The smorgasbord dinner wil be from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the St. Lawrence Parish Center. The menu includes fried chicken, dumplings, potatoes, green beans, slaw, dessert and drink. Carry outs are available. The turtle races will be held at 6 p.m Saturday. Bring your own box turtle. The kids' tractor pull will be at 7 p.m. Saturday. There will be a food stand featuring hamburgers, fish sandwiches, curly fries, funnel cakes, ice cream and beverages. There will be a petting zoo, games, pull tabs sold, raffle and attendance prizes. There will also be a n antique tractor display.
