Greetings Brothers and Sisters,
I hope that you had a great holiday season, and you are enjoying the New Year. The month of February is when we celebrate Valentine’s Day and Presidents Day. Margie Moses', our pastor's wife, birthday is also on Valentine’s Day, Wednesday, February 14th. And Sundy, February 18th is the 6th anniversary of Pastor Gene and Margie Moses’ becoming a part of our church family.
Following morning worship service on Sunday February 18th, the church will have a carry in meal in our fellowship hall to celebrate Margie’s birthday, as well as to thank the Moses’ for their dedicated service to our God and our Church.
This celebration will also be a sendoff for Bro Gene and Sister Margie, who will soon be passing the baton of faith to Tony Siebels, who has been filling the pulpit at our church since July 2023. We hope you will be able to attend this event to help us celebrate and bid farewell to Brother Gene and Sister Margie. Our morning service begins at 10:30 am, and the festivities should begin at 12:00 pm.
The Church will provide the entrée and dessert. You are welcome to bring a covered dish or beverage, (coffee, sweet and unsweet tea will also be provided) and you are also welcome to bring a guest (or guests) as everyone is welcome.
Rev. Gene Moses has included a short devotional message in our February newsletter relating to the events planned for the month of February. We hope you enjoy his message, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
