A Walk in the Bark

I spy something brown. Tree! I spy something with bark on it. Tree! I spy a vertical log. Tree! Many people find it difficult to identify trees in the winter. Leaves are gone, one of the only things left is bark, and many are left feeling like they are in a sea of nameless vertical logs. Learn how to identify a variety of trees in winter while enjoying a walk on one of the nature center trails.

The trail is not ADA accessible and participants should expect steep inclines of over 20%.
