St. Louis R&B, Funk, Soul, and Jazz singer Dakota Pagan and his Groove Band will get you moving, performing classics of Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Earth, Wind and Fire, and much more!

A true musician's musician, Dakota Pagan is a full-time recording artist and vocalist who has been performing professionally since he was eight years old. Currently based in St. Louis, MO, Dakota performs everything from soul, R&B, and jazz to classic rock and pop.

Originally from Branson, MO, Dakota was raised in show business. From age 8 to 14, he was a featured soloist in Branson, MO's Country Tonight, and shortly after high school, he began touring with the Eagle's Tribute Band & the CCR Tribute show. Dakota has a vast range and style.


In partnership with Scout Hall and directed by Dr. Felipe Brito, SEMO Director of Jazz Studies, the Underground Jazz Series has the goal to bring the best jazz musicians from St. Louis, Memphis, Nashville, Chicago, Kansas City, and beyond to the Cape Girardeau and SEMO community.
