Past: Stone Soup Shakespeare: Macbeth

Join the Cape Girardeau Public Library as it hosts Stone Soup Shakespeare for its production of "Macbeth." Shakespeare's "Macbeth" follows the story of the Scottish general who becomes convinced by a trio of witches that he will become the next King of Scotland. This prophecy fuels the rest of the story and with the aid of his ambitious wife, he carries out plans to seize power and tries to ensure that his descendents are heirs to the throne. This will be held on the library's front lawn so bring your own chair/blanket and snacks. Bug spray is strongly recommended.
