Past: Parkinson's Support Group Meeting

The Parkinson’s Disease Support Group of Cape Girardeau is designed for persons with Parkinson’s disease, their spouses, family members, and caregivers. The purpose of this group is to provide education, increase awareness of community services, caregiving support and coping strategies. There will be guest speakers based on the needs of the group.

The next meeting is Monday, March 10, 2025 starting at 5:30 PM at the Cape Girardeau Public Library in Cape Girardeau.

This month will feature speaker Kathy Leimer, RN who will do a session titled:

"Start With Your Gut". The session will feature how to care for self related to avoiding foods, etc that might interfere with your parkinson's medications or cause inflammation of your GI system.
