Past: Christmas Cookie Walk at Old Appletion

The Friends of Apple Creek Bridge non-profit organization is sponsoring a Christmas Cookie Walk Sunday December 3, 4-7 p.m. The family-oriented event will include cookies and other goodies served on tables stretching across the historic Old Appleton bridge. No admittance fees will be charged, but free-donations will be accepted to help preserve the bridge and to install cultural interpretive signs. Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus are expected to appear. Several vendors and a food truck will be on site. The new Christmas Shop nearby on Main Street will be open. The bridge is being illuminated with Christmas lights. Fire pits will provide warmth. Christmas music will add to the atmosphere. Parking will be available north of the bridge, on the Perry County side, rather than in town.
