Past: Jackson 'Fllip the Switch'

Jackson's traditional start to the Christmas season, the Flip the Switch event, will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in Jackson City Park near Pavilion No. 1. The It is presented by Jackson Community Outreach board. Activities include a petting zoo, games, crafts, letters to Santa, face painting and holiday music. The lighting ceremony will being at 5:15 and about 5:45 p.m., Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive. Several food trucks will be on site, selling food. All of Park Street will be blocked off for the festivities.
